Still waiting to see what the local Windsor Essex county economy is going to offer us in the next few months before making that real estate purchase?

I have heard countless times from different people that nothing is selling in Windsor and Essex county.  Let me tell you this is not true, homes are selling everyday.  There is a pent up demand for real estate and cars right now from people waiting to see what happens next with our economy.  These people are waiting to make large purchases for fear of what happens next or for not wanting to rub a large purchase in the face of friends and family that may be out of work.  With home real estate prices low and interest rates at record lows it is a great time to buy.

I have had several buyers say I'm not waiting anymore, let's get something now.  So we start aggressively shopping for their home only to find all the homes they were watching are now sold.  I have many clients looking for great deals on power of sale homes, foreclosures, bank repossession, tax sales, etc.  They are finding that if they wait even one day to get moving the "good deals" are gone or have multiple offers already with some homes selling for more than asking price.

If you are a first time buyer this is paradise for you, no home to sell, low interest rates, low home prices.  There are signs of an improving economy and now is the time to act.  If you are working, take that step and buy your home it is a great time for real estate purchasers.

If you do have a home to sell, well then conditions aren't perfect but they are still great.  Sure there is the possibility of taking a hit on the sale price of your current home, but think of the savings on your new larger home.  You may be locked in a higher interest rate and putting you into today's rates may not even raise your payments much to put in that larger home.
